CCR 2025 Day Two: Buzzing, Bonding, and Big Conversations
As the second day at CCR draws to a close, the ACE Group World team is reflecting on what has been a truly fantastic couple of days. Our stand has been buzzing with activity, welcoming a steady stream of healthcare professionals eager to ask questions, share insights, and join our growing community.
It’s been a joy reconnecting with long-time colleagues and forging new friendships and partnerships. Thursday was so busy we didn’t manage to grab lunch—or even a coffee! The energy was electric, but by evening we were ravenous, so we treated ourselves to a well-earned curry and some downtime.
Friday kicked off bright and early. After breakfast, we spent an hour at the stand before Sharon, Martyn, and I (Linda) headed to the stage for a lively session on the upcoming Patient Group Direction (PGD). We’re excited about its potential to enhance both patient and practitioner safety. The Q&A was dynamic—some questions really made us think! But as we always say: every problem has a solution.
Stay tuned for our upcoming blog series where I’ll be shining a spotlight on members of the ACE team. It’s a chance to get to know the faces behind the emergency helpline—because in moments of complication, familiarity can make all the difference.
As for the weekend ahead, I suspect Martyn and Sharon will be deep in DIY projects, while I tackle the epic task of clearing out years of shed hoarding. Wishing you all a restful and productive weekend!
